How it started

Rockin L began in 2023 doing one thing: pumping septic tanks, with modern, state-of-the-art equipment and one truck. That is a fine business in Parke County. Nearly every property outside a town limit here runs on a private on-site system, and every one of those tanks needs emptying every three to five years whether anybody feels like thinking about it or not.

In 2025 the portable restroom side went in, and it did not go in cautiously. Over a hundred units, bought and kept in the yard at Bloomingdale, which is now one of the larger restroom fleets based in the county. The two halves fit together better than they look. The equipment overlaps, the trucks overlap, and the customers overlap: the farm that needs a tank pumped in April is often the same operation renting units for a fall event.

Both sides run out of the same shop and answer the same phone number. There is no separate department, no dispatch center, and nobody in another state deciding whether your job is worth routing.

The part that matters

The owner is the mechanic

Dane is a mechanic before he is a business owner. He builds and repairs trucks and heavy equipment, and that is not a hobby note, it is the operational core of this company.

A portable restroom and septic business lives and dies on whether the trucks run. A vacuum pump that fails on a Friday afternoon at most outfits means a machine sitting in a dealership queue until the following week, and a week of customers being told sorry, we will get to you. Here it means a night in our own shop.

That is the honest answer to why we do not miss delivery days, and it is more useful than any promise we could print on a website.

How we work

Three things we decided early

Clean, not just pumped

Emptying a unit takes two minutes. Scrubbing the seat and walls, restocking paper and recharging deodorizer takes several times longer. We do the longer version every service, because the inside of the unit is the only thing your guests or your crew will ever judge us on. It is also why our units travel empty and get washed down at your address on delivery day rather than being loaded out of the yard and called ready.

We do not install septic systems

Deliberately. We pump, inspect, repair access and baffles, and jet lines. Not selling drain fields means that when we tell you your system looks fine, there is no money on the other side of that sentence. It is the cheapest form of credibility there is and we would rather have it.

The phone gets answered

Twenty-four hours, seven days. Tanks do not check the calendar before they back up and a unit that gets tipped over on a Saturday night is a Saturday night problem. (765) 562-9033 rings a phone in Parke County, not a queue.

The only guarantee we will print

We do not offer financing and we do not take deposits. On a standard rental you pay when we set the unit down, not before. Events are billed after the event is over, so if you end up needing an extra cleaning partway through it goes on the same bill instead of becoming a second transaction. What we will commit to beyond that is this: if you open a unit we serviced and it is not clean, call and we come back out. It is a promise we can actually keep, which is the only kind worth making.
